SERVICE 01

EMF inspection.
from £149 · 1.5 to 2.5 hours
WHAT’S INCLUDED

Most London homes contain multiple sources of electromagnetic fields — WiFi routers, smart meters, baby monitors, cordless phones, nearby phone masts and power lines. Most people have no idea what their actual exposure levels are.

Our EMF inspection gives you a precise, room-by-room picture of every significant source in and around your home. We measure both low-frequency fields (from power lines and smart meters) and high-frequency radio frequency fields (from WiFi, 5G and mobile signals). Every reading is compared against ICNIRP guidelines and explained in plain English.

Common questions about EMF inspections.

What exactly is EMF?

Electromagnetic fields are areas of energy surrounding electrical devices. They occur naturally but are also produced by power lines, WiFi routers, smart meters and phone masts. We measure both low-frequency and high-frequency fields.

Do I need to turn anything off before the inspection?

No — we want to measure your home in its normal state. Leave your WiFi, smart meter and all devices running as usual. The more typical the conditions, the more accurate the readings.

How long does a EMF inspection take?

A standard EMF inspection takes between 1.5 and 2.5 hours depending on the size of your home. A full home survey takes 3 to 4 hours. You’ll receive your written report within 24 hours.

What if my readings are elevated?

We’ll explain what the reading means in context of ICNIRP guidelines, what the likely source is, and any practical steps you could consider. We never exaggerate results.

SERVICE 02

Radon testing.
from £89 · long-term monitor
WHAT’S INCLUDED

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that seeps up from the ground into buildings. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the UK after smoking — and most people have never had their home tested.

Unlike EMF, radon is a genuinely documented health risk at elevated concentrations. The UK Health Security Agency recommends all homes are tested, particularly those in high-radon areas. Our testing uses certified long-term passive detectors placed in your home for a minimum of three months — the method recommended by UKHSA for the most accurate results.

Common questions about radon testing.

Is radon a problem in London?

Radon levels vary across London depending on local geology. Parts of South and East London have higher natural radon concentrations. The only way to know your home’s level is to test it.

Why does testing take three months?

Radon levels fluctuate with weather, season and ventilation. A short-term test can give a misleading result. Three months is the minimum period recommended by UKHSA to get an accurate annual average.

What is the safe level of radon?

UKHSA recommends taking action if radon levels exceed 200 Bq/m³. The UK average is around 20 Bq/m³. If your home exceeds the action level we’ll explain the remediation options clearly.

Can radon be fixed if levels are high?

Yes — there are well-established remediation methods including positive pressure ventilation and radon sumps. We’ll explain your options clearly if your results require action.
